The Olive Space does provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid dependence, alcohol dependence and nicotine dependence.  Medication assisted treatment for addiction does work and so we are here to help.

Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Dependence

Whether you are suffering from dependence to pain medication, heroin, fentanyl or other opioids, medication assisted treatment works.  It is also quickly becoming the standard of care. MAT significantly reduces opioid cravings and helps people remain clean and abstinent of illicit opioids. Sadly, research has shown that without the assistance of medication treatment, 80-90% of individuals addicted to opioids relapse within a year. Thus, the goal at the Olive Space is to help clients suffering from opioid addiction take control of their lives and begin the healing process.

If you are interested in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid dependence, please contact the Olive Space for a consultation. A thorough evaluation will be conducted by Dr. Bagayogo to determine whether MAT is right for you. Currently two medications are approved for office based opioid treatment. They are Buprenorphine and Naltrexone. We will discuss which of these two medications is the right choice for you and work together to set up treatment goals.
